When you walk into The Smith restaurant on Third Avenue on a morning, the atmosphere is bright and warm, and the smells are divine. An aroma of sweet waffles mixed with savory eggs and cheese biscuits encompasses the room.
Open “early to late,” the Smith prides itself on Breakfast being the most important meal of the dea.
Once you sit down, the environment is friendly and comforting and you’re provided with a rustic looking brunch menu. With items varying from Vanilla Bean French Toast with caramelized bananas, eggs benedict, fruit and granola there’s something for everyone. Be sure to order the cheese biscuits for a savory addition to your meal. The eggs leave you wanting more, but the waffles topped with fresh strawberries and whipped cream leave you satisfied and full.
While you’re there be sure to check out the eclectic bathroom stalls downstairs and take a moment to entertain your childhood memories in the old-fashioned photo-booth.
