Grand Central Terminal Transformed by Liz Smith

After being completed in 1913, this famous train station has become among the busiest in the world, connecting commuters to Manhattan and stimulating development in midtown New York. To celebrate, The New York Transit Museum presented a historical exhibition about the past 100 years of Grand Central Terminal this February and March. “Grand By Design” features photographs, documents and artifacts from the past, displaying the effect that this landmark has had on the city and the world.
